Various Grades of Prints and images

My Images are shot using the highest quality DSLR Camera, with settings and exposures professionally set.  I am a dedicated Nikon Fan and typically use my Nikon D750 professional grade camera.  It has the ability to accept a variety of lens configurations and is what professionals refer to as a "Full Frame" camera.  To simplify that, the camera can capture 100% of the visual image in front of the lens.  This allows for excellent reproduction and a great deal of flexibility in cropping and printing.

My standard digital prints are produced in-house, using high quality a Canon 8-color photographic printer and premium Fuji photo paper.  I can produce print sizes from 8.5" x 11" up to 13" x 38" panoramic.  All standard prints are available in gloss, matte or canvas texture paper.  Larger sizes are available as an out-sourced product.  My out-sourced prints are printed by a specialist photographic lab and are of the highest quality available.

In addition to the standard quality digital prints, I also have the equipment to produce prints on metallic infused paper.  Printed with a very glossy look, these prints jump out of their frame and can make a room.  

Pronounced zhee-klay, this is a photographic printing process that utilizes a process of applying 16 ink colors, sprayed onto the special paper, with microscopic ink jets.  The result is a vivid, life-like reproduction of the image.  The Giclee process is typically produced from digital scans of fine artwork.  When applied to digital photography, the results are stunning.

In addition to the various grades of photo paper, I can also have canvas prints created of your favorite scene or image.  Available in sizes from as small as 12" x 12" to as large as 30" x 40". these prints create a statement wall in your home.  Printed on wooden stretcher frames, these canvas prints are coated with a special UV protective finish, so they will last a lifetime.

All of my work is sold with a standard acid free 2" border matte.  Some specialty images, such as square images, are often produced with wider border mattes, or if the customer requests a specialty image with customized matting.  

In the majority of situations, I do not provide framing services.  However, some of my images are sold pre-framed using minimalist style 1" wide black border frames.  In many cases, these frames are provided to protect the print, or to provide a finished look to enhance their quality.  My philosophy is that when displaying digital photography, the image should be the start of the show, as opposed to the frame.
